“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:3.

As soon as I read it, I thought of how God heals broken hearts, how He meticulously goes over every brokenness, not missing even the smallest crack and inlays it with liquid gold. The more breaks the heart has had, the more beautiful it becomes until it is a masterpiece revealing God’s artistry of love.

When I see God bandaging wounds, I see the love of our caring Father, who at first glance of an open wound, rushes over and scoops us up, sits us on His knee while He tenderly cleans the wound and covers it to prevent infection until we can heal.

Sometimes God heals instantly. Sometimes He allows us to experience the beauty of design, that we will heal over time.

When I look at hearts that have been broken, I see such an amazingly beautiful creation of Gods love. Hearts with thousands upon thousands of lines of inlaid liquid gold. Precious child of God, you are unique, rare, priceless to our Father who used His own tears to polish you that you will shine like the sun in all it's glory.

It is my prayer today that you see just how priceless and beautiful you are and that you can see as I do, how brightly your light shines as the glory of our Lord rest on you.

Be blessed today,

Lisa Beth
